Areas of Sheffield I love buying cars from

I've been buying nice cars from the great people of Sheffield, South Yorkshire since 1989. I come to you, and offer a better price and service than any other company, guaranteed.

Ranmoor, S10

Fulwood Road along the bottom of Ranmoor, onto Ranmoor Park Road, where the rather nice properties begin, and then you tackle the incline of Darwin Lane leading up to Crosspool, with Darwin Close dividing the schools of Tapton & King Edwards. This part of Sheffield not only has great schools but plenty of pubs, places to eat, and a wine bar close by. The beautiful, imposing structure of St. John’s Church can’t be missed as you enter Ranmoor from the base of the hills. Ranmoor was the preferred choice of residency for many metallurgists who wanted to be close to the city, yet far enough away.

Crosspool, S10

A fantastic little community with a village feel, with lots of chimney pots all comfortably serviced by a great choice of shops, many privately owned and not your typical identikit high street. If you’re coming up from town you come through Broomhill up Manchester Road, passing the great old properties along the way, then entering Crosspool when you take a left more or less opposite the infamous Crosspool Tavern. Crosspool is a great choice for many retirees as everything is on your doorstep, yet many families settle here due to the locality of Lydgate Junior, Middle, Tapton and King Edwards secondary schools.

We also like to buy other Land Rover cars with a focus on buying Defender, Discovery & Discovery Sport models under 40,000 miles, a maximum of 2 owners with a comprehensive service history.

Dore & Totley, S17

In years gone by Dore was always seen as the most desired area to reside, and if you lived on Dore Road then you had arrived. Dore is undoubtedly still right up there as Sheffield’s top 5, but it would be fair to say that prices had many buyers off, on a per-square-foot basis it got a little heated. Dore, particularly Dore Road, and all the side roads house some grandeur with £thousands spent daily in S17 on improvements and renovations, thus keeping the area prestigious. Dore has a handful of shops, a couple of pubs, and a railway station (Dore & Totley) taking you to Sheffield city centre or into Manchester. Not forgetting of course, The Summer House, a favourite drinking hole for many of the seen and want to be seen community. Totley itself is just up the road from Dore heading along Abbeydale Road South toward the Peak District. Totley, not as prestigious, offers better value for money, an increase of facilities to serve more residents with many more residential options.

We also like to buy all Audi models under 40,000 miles, a maximum of 2 owners with a comprehensive service history.

Ecclesall & Whirlow, S11

Ecclesall is positioned between Dore and Fulwood with the woodlands of Ecclesall offering a fantastic green space to get away from the city. There are many long-established sizable residential properties on large plots with many in Whirlowdale looking onto Ecclesall Woods. Abbey Lane splits the woodlands rising to the start of Whirlowdale Road where you enter into one of Sheffield’s most desirable postcodes, S11.

The car purchased most recently from a resident of Whirlow Park Road was a 2021, Land Rover Range Rover Vogue SE

We also like to buy other Range Rover cars with a focus on buying Evoque, Velar, Sport & Range Rover models under 40,000 miles, a maximum of 2 owners with a comprehensive service history.

Broomhill, S10

Only minutes from the Sheffield city centre, Broomhill has an eclectic mix of beautiful large terraces, occupied by doctors, dentists, and captains of industry, along with a large number of Hallam and the University of Sheffield students. Many of the properties have been converted over the years to accommodate some of the city’s 60,000 + students. That’s not a bad thing as Broomhill has no shortage of shops with an urban supermarket, hardware store, hairdressers, card shops, some fab pubs, lots of coffee bars, and a plethora of eateries. A busy little place, but nice and quiet when the students go home through the months of summer and the Christmas break.

The car purchased most recently from a resident of Whirlow Park Road was a 2021, Volkswagen Golf GTI

We also like to buy other Volkswagen cars, particularly Golf GTD, GTI & R, Tiguan, and the new Touareg models under 40,000 miles, a maximum of 2 owners with a comprehensive service history.

Fulwood, S10

On the fringes of the Peak District sits Fulwood, if you climb only a mile or so higher you hit the green fields and beyond. This is exactly why houses in Fulwood sell very quickly as everyone loves the proximity to fresh air. Fulwood Road is the spine road tracking from Weston Park up to this popular residential area with its fair share of semi-detached, detached, and palatial pads, something for all budgets, and like all the S10 zones has a nice inventory of pubs, shops, restaurants, petrol station, tennis club and even the HQ for a few local MP’S.

The car purchased most recently from a resident of Stumperlowe Hall Road was a 2019, Mercedes Benz E220 AMG line Coupe

We also like to buy all Mercedes Benz models under 40,000 miles, a maximum of 2 owners with a comprehensive service history.
